I am... a Volunteer
Engaging business and post-secondary partners in meaningful ways.
The Philadelphia Academies, Inc. provides opportunities for professionals to work with public high school students and schools. These opportunities include providing industry expertise to teachers, serving as a workplace mentor during internships, hosting industry or college site tours and working directly in the classroom with students.
By organizing caring adults around clear, positive messages and engaging them directly in programming that prepares young people for the transition to careers and post-secondary education, we can increase graduation rates and better prepare youth for life.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
We can offer you or your organization a volunteering activity that meets your interests, availability, and skills. We also organize volunteer orientations and trainings throughout the year to provide you with the skills and content you need to help youth succeed in college and the workplace.
