The Business Technology Academy is designed with the active involvement
of local employers. The curriculum relates academic studies to
the job skills needed in today’s market, including Microsoft Office Applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel and accounting skills. The Technology component infuses
academic subjects with current technology education so that graduates
will be prepared to enter the job market and/or go on to post-secondary
studies in the field. Students will be provided with an understanding
of Finance, Entrepreneurship and the integration of technology in business operations.
